VENGER - A bounty hunter secretly hired by the Jedi Order to scour the galaxy tracking down the Sith. But this is no mere bounty hunter...he is a former member of the Green Lantern Corps, former because he was removed from his station for abandoning his sector to aid the Jedi. However, because his task was deemed to be noble, he was allowed to keep his Power Ring and Battery Charger. Another being took his sector.

Venger employs a wide range of weapons in addition to his power ring. He also uses the ring to amplify his weapons. His staff which is known as the Death Stick is capable of combatting lightsabres and deflecting gunfire.

Although Venger is employed by the Jedi Order to hunt down Sith, he is, at the same time, suspicious of the Jedi who have seemingly hired him as a mercenery to do their dirty work for them. Who knows how long his patience will tolerate such behavior?

Now here's a dynamic looking figure. The colours are striking, muted though they are, and I find myself looking over all of his accessories wondering what came from where, what's original, etc. One small quibble ... his arm-draping looks a bit too clean against the rest of the costume. Well maybe another ... those are the dirtiest looking energy trails I've ever seen! OK three ... tell me his nose isn't running!

Phenomenal.

Here's one that had some real effort put into it. Like my fellow judge, I'm trying to figure out where everything came from. The dark muddy colors mask a lot, and I like the beat up speckled look, straight out of the Star Wars world.

He almost looks like a bronze staue of a Greek god

I don't see anything making this GL related, does he have a ring? Is that his lantern in his hand?

I assume the green cloth draped over his shoulder is part of his old uniform?

Thanks for the pics showing the different views of the figure.

Great figure, one of the better offerings so far!

cool figure, but the concept of the Guardians allowing a expelled GL to keep a PB and ring is just not ever going to happen. The base figure is the DCUC Nightwing and I know a lot of Titans fans that will be pissed at you for destroying it :p

Any way I like the design and the actual work done it's just not a GL

Paint Apps = 9
custom cutting/molding/restructering = 7
Overall Design = 7 (lost points due to the non-GLness)
Overall score from me = 23

AWESOME paints!!!

Nice figure, but I can see why him being a GL wasn't obvious...
